One way to show the movement in a busy public place is through the photographic technique of multiple-exposure.
 
This image of the hustle and bustle over the lunch hour of the Liverpool Street Train Station in London is 4 images layered over each other. With my Fujifilm XT-4 camera I can do this in the camera as I take the images, rather than later in editing.
